Membership

Non-audition recruitment is directed toward post high school and adult brass, woodwind and percussion players who desire to continue improving their performance skills and to commit them to the overall growth and musical refinement of the ensemble. It is expected that members have the basic skills necessary to work toward their highest level of performance ability. This includes reading notes and rhythms, having a secure embouchure for good tone production and demonstrating basic fingering technique.

We are looking for new members from the community and surrounding areas to help fill out our newly-formed band. If you are interested in joining, see the sidebar for contact information.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays from 7 to 9 PM. See the calendar for details. On occasion, rehearsals will be moved to other locations in the area to avoid conflicts.

Membership Fee

The band has an annual membership fee, which covers purchasing of arrangements and equipment, as well as a stipend for the Director. The membership fee is payable in full by the annual meeting in October. See our Treasurer to make special arrangements.
